I'll name my cat Pertinax, after one of the Roman Emperors in the Year of the Five Emperors. I'll call him Pert, or Bert, or Bertie for short.  :)

The Mewtorians just usurped your cats throne and has put it up for sale.

I'll name the next one Septimius Severus.

That should be 'Purrtinax'.

That was why he was overthrown. He was not punny.

Neither was Narses.

And he said so in a high pitched voice.

Actually, for a little guy, Narses kinda kicked some butt.
I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.

It appears that my 9 year old cat, my youngest, may have bone cancer in his jawbone.  There is definitely something there, the biopsy won't be back for a week though.

Erp, hard to wait those things out.  My chubby cat is 12 now (at least, she was a pound cat), and I am worried she is getting old.

Yeah, I worried about Princess Sneakers of Monaco about getting old when she turned 12, too.  I wound up worrying for 6 more years.  ;)

Try to keep her weight down, that's the most important thing you can do.
