I was like "WTF Gus is a Terminator?"
First Maxim - "There are only two amounts, too few and enough."
First Corollary - "You cannot have too many soldiers, only too few supplies."
Second Maxim - "Be willing to exchange a bad idea for a good one."
Second Corollary - "You can only be wrong or agree with me."

A terrorist which starts a slaughter quoting Locke, Burke and Mill has completely missed the point.
The fact remains that the only person or group to applaud the Norway massacre are random Islamists.

Saw an episode of Homeland last night.

For those unfamiliar with the premise, the red-headed Aussie Lt. from Band of Brothers is a US Marine held captive by AQ/Taleban whoever for 8 years, then rescued or something.  Clair Danes is a CIA operative who suspects he might be a turned plant.

Pretty racy show.  The hot alien from V is Jarhead's wife, shows her tits.   A subplot involves the American girls hired to 2 year sex contracts by a Saudi prince.  The applicants are interviewed in their panties by a current member of the harem.  Warning: none of the tits are Cal-approved.

Morena Baccarin? Gotta see that then.

"We have nothing to fear but lack of fear itself." --Larry Summers

I'll be damned if I order Showtime.  :yuk:

Apparently The Playboy Club was the first new show to get the ax this season.

I'm not surprised.  But isn't it the 2nd new show?  Free Agents started this year and got axed last week.

Anyway, calling a show Playboy Club, airing it on a regular channel (not HBO and the like) meaning no nudity is bound to end in failure.

Some basic bad assumptions

- Making a show with playboy bunnies about mobsters
- Making a show with stewardesses about spies
- Making a show with dinosaurs a family drama

Some basic good assumptions

- Making a show with spies about terrorists

So I predict Terra Nova and PanAm will die and Homeland will continue.
First Maxim - "There are only two amounts, too few and enough."

I'll watch Homeland.  I'll watch next week Terra Nova, and maybe the one after that, but if it doesn't move beyond the initial premise I'll be done with it.

Hanna. It was really cool.
To sleep, perchance to dream. But in that sleep of death, what dreams may come?

Darth Wagtaros

I think shows get cancelled way too early.  Many shows that I grew to love started out as total crap. Babylon Five's first season was a trainwreck, just to name one.  It takes a season to hit a stride and work out the kinks, and most TV doesn't last long enough to really make an impression of any sort.
PDH!

Eddie Teach

Yeah but sometimes shows get canceled early because they never should have been greenlit in the first place. For instance, the Paul Reiser Show.

Yes, many, many of them.
PDH!

Playboy Club actually got axed last week as well. Article I read said it was the first - so go figure.

Apparently Whitney was picked up for a full season.

2 Broke Girls got the same with this:

QuoteBroke Girls" has had the highest ratings average among the 18-49 money demo for any new series this fall.
