Movies on TV. What I hate is when they put the black borders around the picture, taking a few inches off the top and bottom. I think it's supposed to somewhat replicate the theater screen or something but it's loutsy. It just cuts off the top and bottome of the movie pics.   

The widescreen nazis are gonna come after you.

I have wide screen tvs and they're fine. This isn't about the tv, but about some movies when shown on tv. The producers cut down the picture, or squeeze it into a smaller space, as they put black borders top and bottom. Mabe I'm not explaining it right. I think they try to simulate a movie theater screen or something. I'd just rather they leave the whole picture in.

The only other new network show I'm still watching is Person of Interest, and even that I might give one or two more eps. I just find there's something missing about it, something that ought to make me care a bit more. I just don't get the premise.

This one is not terrible and it shows promise.  It suffers from being a show that's unsure if it's going to last so the characters have no development yet but if it does last I think it will only get better.

Finally watched Kick-Ass.  It's actually pretty great, although the jetpack was pretty ridiculous.

The Boss - Kelsey Grammar as morally grey dying mayor of Chicago, conveniently set to die in 3-5 years (for the show, not himself). I seems well made, well written. I see much promise.

Edit: Just in case there is any doubt Pornoholic Kelsey Grammar had some input in the wardrobe department...



Either that or Vivid entertainment provided the costumes.

You should invite Caliga round to your porn studio, he might enjoy it. Though you might want to work on your porn literacy if you have a pron studio.

Walking dead Season premier was slow. although i was not seeing that ending. From the kids expression i thought he was going to go all crazy.

I thought it was alright.  Could have easily been far worse.

The Walking Dead premiere was rather unimpressive, but not bad, per se.  Judging by how the episode ended, they're headed off to Hershel's farm in the next episode.  I thought they spent entirely too much time hunting for the little girl for relatively little dramatic payoff.
