Thanks. I keep forgetting the Internet has the answer to everything and isn't just a collection of porn sites.

Well,  remote viewing does have certain porny possible applications.  ;)

A thought.  Why when selecting educational level is "some college"  such a significant value?

Yes.

Why is this?
I think my background is the one most likely to lead to this but still I only know a handful of guys it applies to.

Because it's too damn expensive.

And also it has no decent payoff unless your major was pretty specific and has nothing to do with anything most of the people on this board who aren't Sav care about.

I guess your file reference back in Moscow central should do.

Bad gear and training. The Mexican Army equipped itself with crap left over from the Napoleonic Wars. This caused them problems even against the Texans.

Poor quality powder that compelled the Mexican infantry to fire from the hip and not hit anything.  Heavy reliance on cavalry when rifling had rendered the charge suicidal.

I think the fact the Mexico was essentially in a civil war at the time hurt them.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

To be fair that was generally their constant state from 1810 until 1867.

Though considering how Nieto is doing these days they might be re-entering that state.
