Lettow, CdM brings up an interesting point. I know you don't have much money and have unstable living conditions, but are you able to shower and get a clean set of clothes each day? If not, that could be a major roadblock to employment. People judge on first appearances.

Just kidding.  The Star of David is a secular symbol, which is why they can be put up on our streetlamps during Christmas along with Santy Claus and angels, but crosses can't.
