Has Vienna had a lot of rain this year? This has been one of the wettest years ever in RI, we're close to breaking the precipitation record for July.
It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

Above average, I think. We had a May warmer thanaverage, loads of rain in June, and now we've had mostly low to mid 30sC during July with every night the chance for rain. For some weird reason it only cools down for the weekend and becomes really rainy then.

The thunderstorm last week was an exception, though, supposedly Vienna is hit by one of those only every couple years.
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.

I'm sure it'll do wonders to wash away all the Jews.

Actually I saw several orthodox families going shopping last friday.

Whenever I think I'm not fit for this world I really should just think of some other folks.
A Chinese friend of mine is really depressed this weekend. It turns out he'd been talking to some Swedish girl on msn for a week or two and last week when they talked she said she'd been out clubbing and pulled.
Apparently he had this weird idea that because he was talking to her online a lot she was his girlfriend. He's acting like his girlfriend really has cheated on him.

Don't do anything.  If Chinese people start getting laid regularly they'll stop working so hard making stuff for us.

'Pulled'?  Is that some sort of emokid slang?
I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

My sister lasted about 20 minutes at the Up Your Alley fair today before wanting to go home. Apparently, watching naked, hairy, old men put sunblock on one another's penises, in the middle of the street, is not her thing.

No. I would not have gone if she hadn't been curious.
