Yes.  I got tired of ignore-fags.
I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

I'll build you a shrine.

I found it useful to have Marti and Grumbler permanently on my ignore list, with Garbon occasionally making an appearance, but once other posters found out about the feature and started using it as a 'weapon', it makes sense to turn it off.

I'm honored.

What's the difference between the way you use it and using it as a "weapon?"

I have been ruined for marriage  :Embarrass:

I will avoid women, alcohol, and combinations of the forementioned with renewed vigour from here on out. Nothing good can come of it at this juncture in time.
It can't be helped...We'll have to use 'that'

No one cares if you're a virgin.  Especially the guy you'll eventually wed.

Step 2 : repeat the steps that lead to step 1.
The medievals were only too right in taking nolo episcopari as the best reason a man could give to others for making him a bishop. Give me a king whose chief interest in life is stamps, railways, or race-horses; and who has the power to sack his Vizier (or whatever you care to call him) if he does not like the cut of his trousers.

Government is an abstract noun meaning the art and process of governing and it should be an offence to write it with a capital G or so as to refer to people.

Nonsense! Why, the questing beast, the better half of her value comes from her continued chastity and innocence.

But I am not concerned with something as low and self-serving as the opinion of future partners- rather, I must now live with the stain of my actions. I acted immoderately with no considerations for genteel conduct or honest plan for the future.

It is not that I necessarily flee the idea of women in general, understand, only that this combination of time and place is inauspicious.

Edit: On the other hand, after blackouts and headaches from over-drinking among comparative strangers, one swiftly learns who has value as a friend. A gentleman I might otherwise have discounted saw to my well-being, and I will be appreciative as long as I know him.
