How often do you wash clothes? (NOT "how often do you change clothes?")

Note: This is NOT a question about personal hygiene, but being green/using water and electricity. I am NOT asking how often you change your clothes, but how often you do a washing.

I usually do washing ever second day and I am concerned if I should wait more (i.e. collect more clothes before doing the washing) to waste less water and electricity or not...

Neil

Weekly.  I have enough clothes that I could stretch that out to once every two or three weeks, but it's best to keep on top of it.
I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

I have enough clothes to make it only every couple of weeks. easily.

Valmy

Every couple weeks.

Since washing clothes destroys them over time I try to only do it as needed.

I don't get the "I have enough clothes" response. Yeah, well I have enough clothes to wear for 2 - 3 weeks too, but that would mean having to wear something no longer fashionable, or not matching, or just something I don't feel like that day, eventually.

How do you properly accessorize that way?

Brazen

I tend to do three loads - white, colours, and bed clothes - once a week.

Here's the great thing:  Heterosexuality goes with everything.

I tend to build my outfits around specific things.  Like dark pants and so forth.  Then I can get lots of outfits that look good without having to think too much about it.

Acceossorize?  With what?  Different color belts?

Err, I didn't say I am washing the same clothes every second day, obviously (unless of course I feel like wearing a particular shirt often etc.). I do wear a shirt (not to mention underwear/t-shirt) for one day only, no matter what. Things like trousers and jackets usually are good for a week or so (unless they actually get stained, of course), suits for 2-3 weeks.

Besides, in 9 cases out of ten, I throw away clothes for being no longer fashionable before they manage to get destroyed through wear and tear.

Zanza

Once or twice a week based on need + I bring my shirts (and less often suits) to a laundry once a week.

Well, belts are one thing (I have them in four colours - black, red, white and brown). Then you have ties, scarves, chokers, wrist bands, socks, suspenders, hats or caps, etc.

Or... *drumroll*... vests (and no, garbon, most of my vests are NOT sweater vests :P).

Why glitter and hair barrettes, of course!

Well, I had to exchange a lot of my wardrobe because I lost about 15 pounds between 27 and 29 of age. I used to wear L, now it's mostly S and M.

Chokers?  What are you, a twelve year old girl?
