How often do you wash clothes? (NOT "how often do you change clothes?")

... if you wear a shirt one day, and you didn't soil or sweat it, it can just be hung up to air out for a couple of days, instead of washing.

it's ok to sniff test.

Dark blue is ok too.

Quote from: Martinus on June 16, 2009, 10:13:22 AMnow it's mostly S and M.

So, are you a top or a bottom?

I thought everybody knew that by now.

Incidentally, "top" and "bottom" are mainly anal sex terms. In S&M the terms are "dom" and "sub".

Black socks only work with dark long pants.

Yes. Brown socks with lighter long pants, and white socks with athletic shoes and sandals.

Their meanings have drifted though to include dom and sub for the not s&m inclined.

What about dark patterned socks? I have black TH socks with a red-and-white argyle pattern, for example.

I don't see why you can't be casual while still be wearing a tie. They are a very good way to accessorize (e.g. give your outfit a bit of colour) without looking stuffy.

Scarves can be worn in warm weather, especially when it is windy (I am not talking here thick, winter-style scarves, but rather soft, silk ones you can tie around your neck, as if they were a tie).

Wrist bands, again, can be a nice touch, although I agree you don't want to go overboard with that.

Socks, like ties, are great for some colour touch. Suspenders can offer a nice contrast as well (I am not talking about normal, "utilitarian" ones, but more crazy stuff - e.g. thick white suspenders look cool with a black shirt for a semi-casual night out).

Hats and caps can also be cool, especially the retro style ones that are fashionable this summer.

I don't know many people who wear ties on casual days.

Should any man really be seen wearing a silk scarf?

Call me crazy, but when I wear clothing, I generally try not to have my socks very visible. Suspenders? :x

Sure, hats can be fine if one likes wearing hats. Many people don't.
I didn't realize American fashion was so conservative. I'm aiming more at London's, tbh.

That's all I wear. Either blue jeans (work with black socks) or dark suits with black leather shoes (black socks are a must).

When I wear shorts, I only wear those half-socks that end with the shoe. In black though. ;)

White socks are okay for some sports (e.g. tennis).

Note: This is NOT a question about personal hygiene, but being green/using water and electricity. I am NOT asking how often you change your clothes, but how often you do a washing.

I usually do washing ever second day and I am concerned if I should wait more (i.e. collect more clothes before doing the washing) to waste less water and electricity or not...
Once or twice a week, try to group as many pieces of clothes together, regardless of colour, use cold water and whatever soap I choose, usually the cheapest one wich automatically excludes the new "officially bio" soaps.
I don't do meditation.  I drink alcohol to relax, like normal people.

If Microsoft Excel decided to stop working overnight, the world would practically end.

I was just trying to appall people with the idea of wearing socks with sandals. :(

Well, I don't as much go for a "trendy" look as I like shopping for clothes and have various different outfits I assemble.
