Not quite that bad here but I'm still shopping for some better blinds.

Get the old-fashioned black out blinds. Those have saved my sleep, as my bedroom window is facing east.

My husband very excitedly got me one that you can blink in. I have found it to actually be pretty good.

I often will too. It has helped me the most as like a horse blinder. When I wake up as it is getting light outside, I put it on and have a good chance of falling back asleep vs. just being awake too early on Languish. :P

Quote from: Norgy on May 20, 2026, 12:08:42 AMThis is the time of year when there's just about 4-5 hours of darkness in Norway. I am up, sipping a strong (too strong, really) coffee, proud that I managed 6 hours of sleep. The sun is up too, the morning dew glistens in the grass.
And reminds me I need to cut it.

It is a beautiful day. Have a good one, people.

I spent a semester in Berlin once. It felt unnatural for the sun to set so late in the evening in summer, or so early in the winter.

Society might be aging too much when 30 year olds are seen as the young trouble makers

I guess it's in case someone between 18 and 30 looks young.

I like the bottom lines.
So if a 28 year old comes with his mother, maybe a senile old lady in a wheel chair, that's fine.

I like how the boomers are somehow panicking about young people not being able to read and being able to read at the same time.
