You are pretty fucking educated.

However being educated wouldn't help you understand that joke.

FB's algorythm again.
It's meant as a joke, and Portugal was never that much interested, despite possibly exploring with Denmark (João Vaz Labrador / Johannes Scolvus / Didrik Pining), and later with his sons, the Corte Reals on its own, for sure.

Plus, Denmark being catholic in 1494, and already having some kind of rights meant the land was not free to take.

Spoiler :

Portugal and Spain (heir to the rights of Castile) are not interested anyways.  :P

We got the joke.  We're not that illeterate, you know :P

The future is all around us, waiting, in moments of transition, to be born in moments of revelation. No one knows the shape of that future or where it will take us. We know only that it is always born in pain.   -G'Kar

Damn. You're right. I just looked at the hands quickly and didn't inspect the whole image. The mass of button at the top is a dead giveaway, though.  :yucky:
"Everything that brought you here -- all the things that made you a prisoner of past sins -- they are gone. Forever and for good. So let the past go... and live."

"Somebody, after all, had to make a start. What we wrote and said is also believed by many others. They just don't dare express themselves as we did."

And the woman in that photo was young and like a model? I just assumed it was AI meme.
"I've never been quite sure what the point of a eunuch is, if truth be told. It seems to me they're only men with the useful bits cut off."
I drank because I wanted to drown my sorrows, but now the damned things have learned to swim.

Most likely.  I thought I indicated it was a made up meme here.  Must have mentioned it elsewhere.

My nieces do know what a CD looks like.  Don't know if 'burning' means anything to them though.
