(In case you're wondering, the video sounds like there's a muezzin calling for prayer.)

If the call to prayer is destroying America from within, it's certainly taking its time.  They've been playing it in Dearborn since the 1970s.
In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance. In Switzerland, they had brotherly love, they had five hundred years of democracy and peace—and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock

True if you include only MDs, but there have been PhD epidemiologists and the like, as well.

It is true, though, that the most common background for an HHS secretary has been law.  That fact does not make the incumbent lawyer any less incompetent, though. There ARE such things as intelligent lawyers, which RFKJ was not.

Who is out there praising demolishing an Arby's?
Quote"This is a Russian warship. I propose you lay down arms and surrender to avoid bloodshed & unnecessary victims. Otherwise, you'll be bombed."

Zmiinyi defenders: "Russian warship, go fuck yourself."

I'd be relatively more alright with Trump demolishing an Arby's so that he could build his ballroom nextdoor to a McDonalds.

I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

Excerpt from Fox News... (article on the Mamdani transition)

QuoteAmong those accusations were claims that Khan was sidelining career staff in favor of fresh blood from a cadre of dark money nonprofits funded by liberal billionaires like George Soros and Pierre Omidyar, while simultaneously pushing a strong antitrust enforcement agenda supported by such groups.

Will someone think of the trusts?  :(

Is not wanting monopolies some kind of evil communist plot now?

While also being a tree-hugging hippie!  He probably wouldn't let the poor oil companies drill in the ANWR either!

Does the mayor of NYC have the power to bust trusts? Because IMO the US could really use some trust-busting right about now, but I wouldn't expect it to come from the civic government of NYC.
