The income claims for Muslims are extremely misleading. 20% of American Muslims are not recent (20th/21st century) immigrants or their descendants.  They are African-Americans who converted to Nation of Islam. That particular demographic does have higher than average poverty rate.  Among more recent Muslim immigrants, those families are somewhat more likely to have higher incomes than average.  Obviously, refugees of any background are likely to be on some forms of public assistance until they are settled in and get some work history.
We have, accordingly, always had plenty of excellent lawyers, though we often had to do without even tolerable administrators, and seen destined to endure the inconvenience of hereafter doing without any constructive statesmen at all.

It there any degree to which the welfare state can be dismantled and our society become exploitative to people to satisfy these bloodthirsty corporate stooges? We are basically at the point where the vast majority of our population has to work multiple jobs that pay basically nothing with no benefits and it still isn't enough suffering by the poor.

I've always found it helpful.  I really think they should teach kids in school how to conduct themselves during a traffic stop.  I think it would cut down on the number of shootings.  Hell, make PSA about it.  Vince and Larry taught me to buckle up, and I always do.
