Only when the Nazis declared war on the US.  And not a moment before.

Besides, a part of the French army kept on fighting against the Nazis.

I think he was talking about the era from 2021 until 2025 not 1941 to 1945

We did more than just hold off the Nazis in the 40s.

Ah, those Nazis.

It gets confusing with so many around.

Well, things were cleared in the 40s, and the Canadian army was stronger too.  Back then, the Nazis had legitimate reasons to fear us. :(

The Brain

Back in the here and now the US has bent the knee to Russia, actively works to destroy European security, and is led by Nazis. Bottomless contempt is a common feeling towards the US these days.

Quote from: grumbler on February 21, 2025, 03:47:54 PMFrance also surrendered to the French Nazis, every bit as much as the US surrendered to their domestic Nazis.  Except the US Nazis aren't turning over Jews to be murdered.
Well, the French didn't turn their Jews to be murdered right in 1940.  They waited a couple of years for that.  There were other sanctions first.

We'll see what happens to trans a couple of years.  This administration is having problem filling Gitmo with illegal immigrants.  It seems there's not enough of them in the US to be deported, let alone to be sent to Gitmo after all.  So we'll see who's next to be sent there, before the political opponents, or right after.

No, he was clearly referencing WWII.

It seems Trump is heading to Moscow on May 9th to commemorate the end of WWII.

Are Russians bringing back the custom to make vassals and vanquished part of the parade?

Just wait until Trump puts Taiwan on the table for trade concessions from China.  Cause that will absolutely happen.  Maybe Korea as well.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

Agreed, though you can take heart in the fact that the French will remain the original and best Surrender Monkeys.  No one can take that away from them.

Nope, the French bled before surrendering.

Nope, the Americans held off the Nazis for four years, the French for six weeks.

Fuck right off.

Someone is taking this way too seriously.

I think it's a given. I don't think Trump & co give a damn about Taiwan.

The only reasonable doubt that I have regarding Trump being a Russian asset is the fact that US intelligence agencies didn't seem to uncover it, and neither did European or Ukrainian ones.  It seems like the kind of intelligence that you would burn a source over, if you had to.  We seemed to penetrate Russia quite deeply during at least some part of Biden's term.
