I would like to point out that, with this upgrade, we now have a spoiler tag in the BB code.

Any chance we can get one of those grey/black based themes?

Actually, one thing jumped out at me--when you quote a paragraph, it just stretches past the right edge of the screen, and you can't scroll right either.

I mean, it's not the hugest deal, but it would prevent fucking with people's quotes, which is: tradition.

This is actually what I meant.  That's a new feature I installed with this upgrade.  I haven't found anything yet to tag a whole thread.

Clear your cache.  Some saved data from the old release appears to be screwing up the new one.

Does the upgrade support posting embedded links to videos (e.g. youtube?)

E.g. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ

Edit: Apparently there is a mod for SMF that can do it: http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=977

The popularFX style works fine, except for that annoying underline at the end of the post.  It's highly annoying.  I'd still prefer that over that orange concoction, though.

I haveto put hard returns, else I can't see what I'm typing after around 70 characters or so? CAn't see a

I think vM is right that it is some sort of cache issue, perhaps. I don't have that same post running issue if I use the classic core theme in explorer (where I've never opened languish).

I actually rather like the default version for the moment.  Smilies are all fucked up though, which is a problem, since I consider them a vital part of my communication skills.
Title: Re: SMF 2.0.2 upgrade problems

Oh and clearing the cache does indeed make it stop scrolling off the screen or however you would describe that.

I seem now to have lost most of the "smileys".  :( I only have a few of the classics. Most show up as the generic "jpeg" icon.

I see to be having problems with the scroll bar in the post composition window.

If I don't hit enter, it'll just keep running off the right side forever, but I  can't scroll to see what I've written.  It's weird and I don't like it.
