I'm looking up a friends warrant, since he's currently a scumbag and in jail, and it says this:
Warrant: INSTANTER Court:
D359
Charge:
THEFT PROP<$1,500 2/MORE PREV CONVIC
Disposition:
Disposition Date: 03/27/2010
Bond Amount:
NOBOND
What does this mean exactly? The instanter mostly is what I'm confused about.
Thanks
Either an instruction that this person is to be put into immediate arrest, or the mandate is emitted to be immediately effective?
QuoteInstanter is a Latin term meaning without delay or instantly. The term is used in various legal contexts, such as when a court issues an order for a writ of possession instanter, or an attorney files a motion requesting an action to be taken, and that the action be allowed immediately, among other examples.

I used to know, but I forgot. :(
Means nothing to me. Sorry.

Good lad. Information is power.
So you are friends with convicts and criminals? Kinda confirms my opinion about who ends becoming a soldier in modern Western countries.

Dunno, my brother in law was 20+ years in the U.S. Army and has no criminal record. He's now an IT techie for a bank. His brother was a Navy pilot, fought in GW1. He became a salesman for corporate pharma, realized he was gay and is now dieing of AIDS. No criminal record, either.

I still find it remarkable that Americans make that kind of information so freely available.
Americans must hate personal privacy. :(

Lol I think it would be more accurate and presumptuous to say all college students are friends with criminals than it would be to say soldiers considering hes a student, ya polish fucking retard.

It looks like legalese for "arrest" to me. You've got search warrants, bench warrants, arrest warrants, etc. I'm working strictly on context here, but the best I've seen was here: http://www.waltoncountyga.org/MagCt/documents/criminalprocedurescitizens_000.pdf
It mentions that "if the judge finds that probable cause exists, the warrant may issue instanter."

I think, (and I'm not sure) it means something like ASAP. Do it right away or you can do it now. Seedy would probably know.

So it's better to warn bad guys ahead of time that an arrest warrant has been issued? We should give them a head start to give them a sporting chance?

The way I sees it, people arent going to hop onto the site daily to check if a warrant is out for their arrest. And if they are, they are expecting one and are going to be on guard whether its published or not.
