Hey Jeff, question:  last night Rudy Giuliani said that upstate New York was "impoverished" because the Obama Administration has banned fracking in New York state.  Is that true?  Is everyone impoverished up there with you because they can't frack and stuff?

Obama never banned fracking in NYS.  New York State banned fracking in the state.

CNN is reporting short list of Democratic VPs:

Tim Kane
Tom Vilsak
Elizabeth Warren
Sherrod Brown
Corey Booker

Tim Kaine seems to be the most qualified and of admirable character.

The Minsky Moment

Corey Booker kicks ass.
But will not be the pick.

Don't know what Vilsak brings to the table.  You suck his dick before the caucus, not the general.

She should

Booker's record seems thin before and in office.  He just seems to be a good media personality.

More insightful journalism from CNN:  Three types of Republicans at the RNC

1.)  Those that favor Trump
2.)  Those that oppose Trump
3.)  Those that are lukewarm on Trump

Thank goodness they had a Senior Digital Correspondent write this story; it might have been trivial or obvious otherwise.

I kinda had my heart set on Admiral Stavridis, actually.  #100%OnWatch

The VP pick must not outshine the main candidate. You want the VP to be the solid, uninteresting version of whoever is at the top of the ticket.  :hmm:

Not this time.  Clinton or Trump might refuse re-election or die in office due to old age.

Still you need that contrast to remind people that the top of the ticket is truly special, hence it would be a mistake for Clinton to pick someone qualified and of admirable character.  :hmm:

As long as she doesn't pick Sherrod Brown. I might have a stroke.

Well, if you were going to vote Republican that might be a plus from her perspective, right?
