There was one point in time when Ahnold would have been a top republican contender.

Hell even now - look at how the GOP is flocking to a B-grade celebrity like Trump.  Imagine what an A-lister like Arnold would do (and his personal life is no more or less complicated than Trumps is).

Sure but then he got elected to a position and developed experience and a record. Suicide for a Republican candidate these days :P

But seriously he is waaay too moderate to be a national Republican figure.

You sure about that?  Trump has embraced universal healthcare in the past and it doesn't seem to be hurting him.

I won't be bothered if Cruz wins Iowa.  Iowa's job is to cull also-rans, not annoint winners, which it sucks at.
