You're a little bit out, by that point I'll be transitioning to "So who won it?"
"We have it in our power to begin the world over again"

You know what is really fucked up?

Trump makes Cruz seem downright reasonable...but he isn't.
A friend of mine who has his own law firm, and I always thought highly of when it came to political opinions, has outed himself on FB as a huge Cruz supporter.

That's why I go out of my way to avoid talking, or even hearing, politics talk with people in real life.  It usually makes me think less of people that I like otherwise.

There were snl skits in 1980 about people finding out their friends supported Reagan.

A new poll has come out that has Trump down 10 to Cruz in Iowa. I'm stunned that Tim hasn't posted that. Oh wait, I'm not at all.  :P

I always thought it likely someone else would win Iowa. Trump is way up in NH, SC and NV, so that's three out of the first four going into Super Tuesday, and if the establishment is relying on Ted Cruz to save them from Trump, then they've already been defeated.

Jet: I see.

CBS/NY Times Poll

Trump 35
Cruz 16
Carson 13
Rubio 9
Bush 3
Christie 3
Paul 4
Kasich 3
Fiorina 1
Huckabee 3

The media's publicity campaign for Trump is really paying off.   :)

Yea, he lost what, one point for the stupid proclamation on Islam.

I think he's up from that ; well that and the media's non-stop coverage of all things Trump.
In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance. In Switzerland, they had brotherly love, they had five hundred years of democracy and peace—and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock

Yeah, Iowa has been a pretty poor predictor of who wins the nomination.  Let's not forget who won the last two times around: Rick Santorum and Mike Huckabee.

Admiral Yi

A second person I know has told me they support Trump.

Razgovory

I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011
