Since apparently I need to burnish my #NeverTrump credentials...

So apparently Roger Ailes behaviour was so boorish, and Gretchen Carlson's proof of such so strong, that Fox News is going to pay her $20 million dollars AND issue a public apology.

Yet there's been nary a peep question why Roger Ailes is going to be a senior advisor for the Trump campaign?  Shouldn't any normal politician want nothing to do with Ailes at this point?

QuoteTrump tops Clinton 45% to 43% in the new survey, with Libertarian Gary Johnson standing at 7% among likely voters in this poll and the Green Party's Jill Stein at just 2%.

While yes, once you start moving beyond the US you probably have to go to figures like Berlusconi or Gerhardt Schroder well before you get to Chretien and they're admittedly much bigger crooks.  (assuming you keep it to western democracies, because otherwise things get crazy).

But Chretien was still a master crook.

What crimes did he commit?  When was he charged and convicted.  What was his sentence?

Will be a start to your fall reading list.  And yes, just for you, there were criminal convictions for fraud (but of course not against JC - thats what fall guys are for).

You have a very different definition of "crook", than I do.  I use that for people who actually commit crimes, ideally with convictions.  I know that in your profession nobody is ever proven innocent, so perhaps that is what is all about.  Presumably you feel the same way about conservative figures as well.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

Norway.

Considering how we already possess diplomatic relations--including, among other things, a mutual defense pact--how exactly did Norway have to "pay to play" with the State Department to deal with the US?

They donated money to Clinton Foundation.  Clearly, if they hadn't Clinton would have simply cut off relations with them.

Turns out Kasich is a moron after all.

A lot of us closer to Ohio than you have known that for quite a while.  But thanks!

QuoteSimple Definition of crook
: a dishonest person
: a criminal
: the place where part of the body (such as an arm, leg, or finger) bends

I'm leaning more on the first definition while you're only looking at the second.

I'm focused on the third - it can serve as a good tiebreaker. Does JC meet that standard?
