So, Grant Morrison Killed Robin. This is the third time they snuff robin in my lifetime



Jason Todd, Stephanie Brown and Damian Wayne all have been killed for whatever reasons. I find all of this very disturbing in general since Robin is the entry point for kids reading Batman since they have no chance i hell of identifying with Batman.

I never liked Damien Wayne. Not because he was a little shit or because he was murderous psycho. I didn't like him because he was just a little violent thug that didn't add anything other than violence. If anything he was a permanent little open door tempting Batman to go off the cliff into a proper vigilante murder spree. Even Jason Todd had the good sense to keep his less savory impulses secret from Batman.

So, what do we think about Robins death. Do we want a new Robin, if so who?

First Corollary - "You cannot have too many soldiers, only too few supplies."
Second Maxim - "Be willing to exchange a bad idea for a good one."
Second Corollary - "You can only be wrong or agree with me."

They'll resurrect him in a year or two, like they do with every other character they kill.  It hardly matters.

I heard in an interview with Grant Morrison who both created and killed Damian that he had wanted to kill Damian off some time ago but the character's popularity kept him alive.

Of course he'll come back as a clone. He was killed by one of his own clones ffs.

Yes, well, some of us are just waiting for Didio to get fired at this point.  Quite a few of my friends are boycotting DC as long as he's in charge.

Young Justice won't exist either, shortly.

At any rate, everything from Flashpoint on has been such an unmitigated disaster for DC, it's hard to care if they have any plans, secret or otherwise.
