According to Sky, South African police have said to the South African media that it was his girlfriend who was shot in the head. The media down there are reporting that she was mistaken for a burgler.

Edit: Apparently he's being questioned. She was shot in the head and the arm

Following a revelatory police conference we have learned that Pistorius is due to appear in a Pretoria court later today and that there had been reports from neighbours of shouting and screaming coming from the house earlier in the evening.
