The commentators mentioned how bad the field conditions were, and I think the field just helped cause that knee twist.

Yup;  and as much as I hate the Redskins,  I applaud the fact they play on real grass, but that's the risk you run at the end of the season when it's all torn up;  it's riskier for ankles and knees than the synthetic stuff.

You look at the shots from the blimp, the entire field is torn up between the hashes from one end to the other.  That field is as bad as I've ever seen it.

In any case this really was a whipping the score should have been more like 42-14 if the Skins defense had not kept pulling rabbits out of their hat.  I had a feeling going into this one that Seattle was the best team in the NFC...after seeing the Skins run over them in the first two drives they might not be but they were too much for Washington.

Still best year since 2005.

That's really ironic, isn't it?  Before they invented high tech synthetic fields vets used to beg to be traded to grass teams to save their bodies for another year or two.

It looks like RG3 has never had to learn how to be a pocket QB.  Like that very last sack right before the fumbled snap and the knee twist: you have to be a mad man not to throw it out of bounds and not save the 14 yard sack.

Yeah, but the synthetic stuff with the layered base they have now is light years ahead of that carpet that would explode knees.  Remember the game when Wendell Davis blew out both knees at the same time on a post pattern at Veterans?

Kid's got a bit to learn yet.

I feel bad for London Fletcher though.  He played out of his mind today, and I have to wonder that if they had switched out QBs earlier if the Redskins might have been able to pull it out.
I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

Neil

LOL.  Richard Sherman almost got knocked out by a Redskins lineman after the game.  He's a mouthy one, he is.

Hey, he's got a ring already.

Somebody had interpersonal issues with Richard Sherman.  Loved the wave;  how Pete Carrollish.

Neil

True.  Sometimes you forget that he was on the Greatest Show on Turf.  It feels like he's been a Redskin forever.

Man, the Seahawks are going to punish the Falcons like they're redheads in a Wendy's commercial.

Next weekend's games and teams are an obvious step up in quality.  Those are all legit playoff teams playing, with the exception I'd say of Seattle.

Oh you'll regret this when they lead by 10 in New Orleans in a couple of weeks.
