You guys sure you don't want to huddle up?  You could burn a good solid 30 seconds if you did.

After burning up so much time for that touchdown, what's a few seconds?

That was the slowest OH GOD WE NEED POINTS NOWNOWNOWNOW drive I've ever seen, I think.

CountDeMoney

It was rather maddening.  They so needed to score quick on that particular drive.

MadBurgerMaker

They got the ball with 10 left or so,  right?  Three TDs is a lot to ask there, but damn.

CountDeMoney

LOL, Mom just called:  "Ravens have to go play that pussy Brady?"

Damn.  When my mother calls you a pussy, you're a pussy.

  Harbowl is still alive.

Was Schaub hurt or something?  It just seemed weird to me that at no point did they ever attempt the deep ball.
I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

I don't think he was.  They never said anything about it if so.

See, I didn't get that at all.  I mean, yeah, take your chances against the Pats run D with one of the best backs in the game, but their secondary can be beaten, Shaub has a great deep ball and Johnson (the game's 2nd best wideout) was 8 for 11 thrown at, and had a longest reception of only 22 yards.  Could've gone after the secondary harder, instead of mid-length seams.

Not looking good for Griffin. Looks like Shanahan's destroyed the first sign of hope in Washington in 20 years.

That is not exactly new information but I appreciate your cheering this situation on.  Try not to pop any champaign when his career ends.
New information to me and CdM.

What makes you think I'm happy about this?

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

The early lines:

1/20 3:00 ET    San Francisco    -3    At Atlanta    47.5
1/20 6:30 ET    At New England    -8.5    Baltimore    51

I would expect San Fran to win by more than that, and the Pats-Ravens game will be closer.

Yay.

QuoteProviding a bit of bulletin-board material before the New England Patriots even officially finished off the Houston Texans to reach the AFC championship game, special-teams ace Brendon Ayanbadejo delivered a shot at the Ravens' next opponent.

"New England does some suspect stuff on offense," Ayanbadejo wrote on his verified Twitter account. "Can't really respect it. Comparable to a cheap shot b4 a fight. Are you watching the game pats vs texans? If so you see the hurry snap offense catch em b4 they set up. It's a gimmick.

"Their offense is good enough to be successful with out that. .. In a sport that is predicated on mano y mano, lets hurry up n snap it  = [expletive]"

The Ravens lost to the Patriots in the AFC title game last season.

The Patriots' formidable offense is headlined by quarterback Tom Brady, who passed for three touchdowns and 344 yards during Sunday's win over the Texans.

The Patriots piled up 457 yards of total offense and 24 first downs.

Not content to just rip the Patriots' offensive strategy, which is predicated by a lot of quick throws by Brady, Ayanbadejo also referenced New England's Spygate controversy and releasing wide receiver Tiquan Underwood last year one day before the Super Bowl.

"You know the same organization that did spygate and cut a guy the day b4 the Super Bowl," Ayanbadejo wrote.

It's unlikely that Patriots coach Bill Belichick will react to Ayanbadejo's comments, but they're sure to find their way to the Patriots' locker room as a bit of motivational fuel heading into a rematch of last year's AFC title game.
