For every Monica Bellucci (still able to pass the Boner Test at 40-something) out there there are 999 women over 40 who are a variation on Boyle. She's the default template for the majority of women in that age cohort.

And even the hot 40 year olds looked hotter in their 20's . Life is cruel. Women look better at a certain age and men are richer at a certain age . it's just the way things are.

Don't girls mature faster than boys though? I think for a long time the marriage eligible age was different for those groups.

wether or not kids from ages 13 to 17 are considered men/women depends very much on what society's criteria are. And these can (and have) change over time
