WW1 multiplayer shooter Verdun is getting a sequel: Isonzo

I don't like shooters but this is tempting.

Syt

I will not buy it - not a shooter person, and I suck at them, anyways. But it does look interesting.
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.

Looking through GOG titles, I was just hit hard in the nostalgia feels, because World Championship Boxing Manager is there:

I played it lot on C64 - though I would edit the database to replace all boxers' names with pro wrestler names. :D

This drooling over the Rome Total War remaster is getting a bit annoying. Sure, it was awesome and I played the heck out of it but come on. The tactical AI was nothing, even I defeated it routinely by the most basic "infantry locks the line, cavalry goes around flanks and destroys everything" routine, and of course there are things like Bronze Age Egypt.

Syt

Bit surprised there being a remaster, anyways. But yeah, people getting overly nostalgic until the fire up the game again.

Then again, there's people who argue that it was the last good Total War game (a claim made about every other TW game by different people, so I guess Creative Assembly are doing something right :P ), so who knows.

I kinda hope the next full TW game after WH3 will be Medieval 3.

It's probably people whose first gaming experience was a TW game.

Likewise, I really enjoyed the C&C remaster
For about two days and then I never touched it again, but still.

Tamas

Fair enough.

Medieval 3 would be great. I should return to the 1212 mod made for Attila, it is most excellent.

All of Kingdom Hearts launches on PC tomorrow: https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/discover/kingdom-hearts

So, if you ever wanted a crossover of JRPG and Disney characters .... :P

Morrowind Rebirth 5.4 release trailer, also celebrating the mod's 10th Anniversary:

Video is a bit stuttery, but I assume that's a recording issue, as I played 4.5. a few years ago and all was fine.

Which one, there's like 8 of them in those bundles. :P

EDIT: actually, PC Gamer made a guide which ones to play, which ones to ignore: https://www.pcgamer.com/the-ultimate-guide-to-getting-into-the-kingdom-hearts-games/

I'm not going to dive in - too much money and too much content for me at this point when I still have a ridiculous backlog. :D

I only played the first and didn't bother with the sequels after it.
Though as a disclaimer I'm also rather Meh on zelda.

Haven't played any of those since the SNES one. :P
