As I always say, routine missions are never routine...

While leading a mission to investigate the wreckage of yet another downed scout, Col. Valmy is struck down before he can even get off the Skyranger...



And later in the same mission, his XO Capt. Tamas is also killed.

But, death leads the way to career advancement for others...



FunkMunk is transferred from Vagina Wall to take the lead over at Beet Field, and June ends as one of X-COM's most successful months in the eyes of the funding council...

Alas, unless I build more radar stations that need a minimal garrison, it's kinda "dead-man's-boots" at this point.  :P
