Germany: 35 hour workweek.
Germany: only country in Europe that doesn't suck.
It's fairly rare. Most people work more, quite a few much more.

My normal shift while up at the hospital is 06:30-15:00; the normal shift otherwise is 07:00-15:30.

I wouldn't mind starting a 06:00 every morning just to get home earlier.  I really want to find a way to get my shift to 4 10 hour days, for some reason the office thinks that is screwing them over somehow.

Anything over 8 hours in a day (unless you have agreed prior to the shift starting) and Saturdays are time and a half, and Sundays are double time no matter how much you worked during the week.

I work standard hours. For me that's 7:30-4:00. Last summer my company moved a lot of support people to a new location, which is just 3 miles from my home. I love the commute; an excellent change from commuting into Boston every day.

My working hours are usually between 9:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. but can be considerably longer (or on weekends) depending on workload/necessity.

Usually work 7am-7pm 5 or 6 days a week.

Right now I'm working basically 9 - 5 M-F, with a bit extra here and there as necessary.

I dont think I have ever worked a standard day. Between high school and university I would often work 10-14 hour days doing manual labour type jobs.  During university I worked nights and weekends.  After university I worked long hours as a junior.  Now my work hours depend on what I have on my plate.  Sometimes I can leave quite early.  Sometimes I need to work quite late.

Yes. If I were bad at my job I would need to work longer hours and spend more after-hours time at work though.

35 hours, around 18.00 - 01.00. It fits me quite well, also we get the drunks instead of the commuters. Commuters are from hell.

I take a dump everyday between 9am and 10am. That is about it for my schedule.

9-to-5, and wouldn't be allowed to work overtime unless approved by my managers. Even then I'm only paid 40 hours even if I work 60 hours, but I would be granted 20 hours out of office in compensation.

I still prefer the money, though.
