Baseball: Mr. Baseball

Basketball: Hoosiers.  The best overall sports movie ever.  Amen.

American Football: they're all kind of weak.  Anyone who says Any Given Sunday deserves a punch in the package.

Soccer: another weak field.  Maybe that one in the POW camp with Pele?  I haven't seen it.

Track and Field: Chariots of Fire.

Other sports with a decent movie?

And Stallone? Victory. A staple of HBO in the late 80's in the late morning.

I'd put up "Rudy" as a contender for American Football.

And the Canucks here will rail at you for not including Hockey.

Oh yeah, for wrestling there's Vision Quest.  Visionquest?  VisionQuest?

Boxing: Raging Bull.  Only serious competition for Hoosiers.

Slapshot. I'm sure they got some faggy film about beating a russian team, but the Hanson brothers are unbeatable.

Just remembered "The Best of Times" and am now more unsure.  :hmm:

And just to make it political, "Knute Rockne, All American".  :P

I like The Damned United a lot, but it's not really about football.

Zidane: A Twentieth Century Portrait is extraordinary but it's a documentary (I suppose) so doesn't count.
Let's bomb Russia!

I hate to be the one to break it to you, but some people claim that pro wrestling is not 100% authentic.  :secret:

Oh yeah, more than once staying home with the flu. Victory on at 10am?  It's a date!

That was actually a pretty cool movie.  Good soundtrack, too.
