Last ride of the year; had a spin around some of East Dorset, then down to the seafront at Sandbanks, took the promenade all the way to Christchurch, sea restive and a nice tailwind along the whole coast.   

Probably about 40miles in something like 2 3/4 hrs, my excuse is the walkers, talkers, family groups, small children on bike scooters, dogs, OAPs etc all have right of way and so I had to stop numerous times.   

The single speed seems to work a treat.

In total I cycled around 4,600 mile in 2011, much of it off-road, and sfa other exercise, I shall have to do better next year.
