I hope it landed intact and the remote controller guys are watching the TV feed of their drone being hauled into a top secret Iranian facility.

Probably a tracking device in the drone, and in a few days the news will show another story of explosions at an Iranian military site. Such events seem to have happened a few times lately.

Considering the way things have gone for the Iranians, it's quite possible the drone crashed and killed a scientist.

I thought they were very difficult to shoot down.

They are suppose to be hard to spot, not hard to shoot down.  Once it has been located the Iranians can probably sent a plane up to shoot it down.  A heat seeking missile would probably do the trick as well.

A halfway decent AA gun should do the trick.

They fly pretty high.  I don't know how high AA guns fire.  I imagine it has a very high flight ceiling, probably out of range for most AA guns (which are mostly for hitting helicopters today).

The 100mm Sa'eer air defence automatic medium-range system features a radar-optic interception system and can fire 12 to 15 shells per minute with improved precision at targets without crew intervention.

Iran has also equipped its air defence unit sentinels with advanced shoulder-fired rocket launchers to boost its air defence capability.

I think the Iranians, by way of their Chinese suppliers, can build at least as well as the jerries oculd 60 years ago.

Yeah, but 88's (and the 128s), can't shoot as high as a modern plane can fly.  Those drones can fly 50-60 thousands feet up in the air.  Those AA guns couldn't shoot that high.  Most countries phased out the big AA guns.  It's not like anyone was intending to fight over a 500 bomber raid anymore, and those old FLaK guns worked en mass.  Missiles are much more effective.
