Sage doesn't get grief for trying to make a play.  He gets grief for almost singlehandedly losing that game.  10 point lead and the ball with 4:00 left, and the QB turns the ball over three times??  Fuck yes he's going to catch some shit.

Now to be fair, the third turnover was an INT in desperation time after he had already pissed the game away.  The first was the Rosencopter fumble that went in for a TD.  The second was a fumble on the Houston 21 yard line with 2 something left on the clock. 

Edit: This is not to say I wouldn't rather have Sage than TJ Yates starting.  If he gets through the waiver wire all the way to the Texans, I hope they pick him up.

Seems like that's more of a "for now" thing.  They don't really give a shit about the Jags in Jville.  They've had the tarps over big chunks of that stadium for a long time.
