I contend that human life has very little value - unless it be dedicated to something greater than itself.  And by this I do not mean one's own progeny or the accrual of one's personal wealth.

Because children are annoying, and are not greater than adults.

That said, I'm sure that perpetuating the line is a 'something greater' for some people.  Grallon wouldn't think so, but he can be blind sometimes because of his illness.

If ones life has little value than ones accomplishments have less value still. Such accomplishments are fleeting and unless monumental are soon forgotten. The odds of anyone makes such memorable monumental changes to the course of history are infinitesimal. Enjoy what time you have, worry not if you matter in the grand scheme of things, because chances are you don't.
Being lazy is bad; unless you still get what you want, then it's called "patience".
Hubris must be punished. Severely.

I think killing muslims is a worthy enterprise.
Additionally, space tech research seem worthy enough to me as well.
Archeology and historical research would be my 3rd pick.

I am interested, sure. But studying something doesn't bestow meaning upon it if there was none beforehand.

The purpose of life is enjoying oneself and not hurting other people too much. Accumulation of wealth helps one to enjoy one's life, and I'm led to believe people enjoy being parents (although I fail to see why it would be enjoyable).
