I've never really got ice cubes in anything. I certainly wouldn't put them in wine.
Most of the time they're used for poor people drinks like soda or shitty beer.  The colder the drink is, the harder it is to taste any shitty aftertastes, which poor people drinks often feature.

Soda is the American beverage.  What are you, a communist?

Also, for the question of the thread: Jesus Christ, really?

I haven't done that yet. I admit I was considering it due to the heat, but I restrained myself. :P
Ah.  This is where the heat has gone.  I wondered if we were the only ones freezing, I guess we are.

I've no problem with my red wine, I can just leave the bottle outdoor and bring it inside 15 minutes before meal time. :(
I don't do meditation.  I drink alcohol to relax, like normal people.

It's called pop.  Only communists call it soda.

They don't have refrigerators in Warsaw yet?
We have but my fridge broke down, so I only have the freezer and the small separate fridge unit. Bloody Samsung.
Take a half hour and buy a new one.
I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

Don't get Slargos started on what else is commonplace in Germany. <_<

The ice recipe was lost when the Germans invaded.

If the purpose is to mask shitty red wine then just mix it with coke. Its what the Spanish do. And it can be rather nice.
