Matt Jeneroux has resigned from Parliament.
He was a Conservative MP from Alberta.

Reasons are not explicietely stated, but it's kinda clear from his statement that he has a disagreement with Poilièvre.

Just a year ago he was "THIS" close to being PM. Now, he'll likely be gone from politics in a couple months.

I expect that the Conservatives will remain on trend and select one further to the right of the current leader, if indeed Poilievre the knife.

If the cons stay further right I'd think that will help the liberals stay in the right of centre space - where they belong imo.
