Oh and thanks Big East.  I actually thought you were good and now my bracket is toast.

Even though I made a conscious effort to hedge my bets & not be too much of a Big East homer, my brackets *still* got screwed over by Big East teams.  I don't know if I've ever seen a conference so dominant in non-conference play throughout the regular season disappoint so much come tournament time as the Big East did this year. 

WVU gets a pass since they played an extremely talented & under-seeded UK team, as do the two teams that lost to Big East teams.  And I can't fault Nova since they were a 9 seed losing to an 8 seed.  St. John's hasn't been to the tourney in eons so I didn't expect a whole lot there.  But Georgetown, Pitt, Louisville & Notre Dame are all on my shit list.

As bad as my brackets are, if Duke goes all the way I'm pretty much guaranteed money on my Bengals bracket.

Duke competes at a high level every year, with a team made up mostly of goofy white guys,  a few black kids who have the grades and scores for Duke, without a hint of recruiting violations.  They really have no parallel in college basketball, or for any other sport at any level.
