Vipe: There is literally not a whiff of a reason to believe Tyrannosaurus couldn't see you just because you stood still. :P

And I'm pretty sure dilophosaurs couldn't spit poison. (The threat display is pretty fanciful too.)

And not all dinos we're feathered; ankylosaurids almost certainly weren't, just for one example. Iirc, almost all theropods were, with evidence pointing to some plumage on Tyrannosaurus, although there are some exceptions, like Spinosaurus, where there is zero evidence for (afaik) and substantial evidence against.
Spinosaurus lived an aquatic lifestlye, no reason to have feathers.
Semi-aquatic.

Quick someone think of a semi-aquatic bird that has feathers!
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

But you know what no one ever talks about? JP velociraptors are pretty much acceptable artistic license, but the shit they do to Tyrannosaurus and Dilophosaurus in that movie is straight-up retarded.
Tyrannosaurus, I don't know what's wrong with them, what is your problem?

Dilophosaurus, because reducing the size of a dino instead of increasing it is bad? :D
Tyrannosaurus, lived in the forest
Died because his heart got in the way!

Martinus

I kinda stopped watching Daily Show because of Jon Stewart's imminent departure but watched the last episode - and boy, did he nail it. I'm gonna miss this guy. Thank god we still have John Oliver and Bill Maher.

Darth Wagtaros

Wtached Moonrise Kingdom. Good movie.  Except for Snoopy.
PDH!

Ascension- such a odd show. Thought it was alternate history at first but no, it's a secret. Wonder how earth and space plots will come together. I liked the first ep, will watch.
As a nitpick though- why would they take black guys on the ship??

Because the project was launched in the 1960s?

I didn't find it that good.

to create a new world, they needed to avoid the problems already present in the US at the time of launch.

It had a good premise but got stupider as it went along

I admired the chutzpah. It was a silly show, but they really pulled one over on me.

Sherlock Holmes Game of Shadows. So, Sherlock Holmes
avoids a world war that we know will nonetheless still happen a few years later
. I thought it was a bit odd for your usual "save the world" blockbuster plot.

It was good dumb fun, nonetheless.
