Star Wars: Rebels.
Anime stuff, I feel like I'm slipping down on CdM's most hated list.

Anime Star Wars?
Just like Star Wars: The Clone Wars, but with a season long story arc.

It's computer animated, not sure what the anime reference is referring to?
I thought it was a generic synonym of cartoon that made it sound more mature...
Seems I was wrong.  Call it whatever you want, it just ain't a live action thing.

"Somebody, after all, had to make a start. What we wrote and said is also believed by many others. They just don't dare express themselves as we did."

Flash!  :w00t:
Wow.  That was one hell of an episode. :o
I'm going to take a wild guess and say he ran faster or slower than expected!  :smarty:
It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

Up to episode 5 of Better Call Saul. Definitely getting better (wasn't bad before, mind!). Loved the bits with the loony customers he attracts after his publicity stunt; Breaking Bad already had lots of dark humor but I think Saul's character lends itself more easily to it.

First time I've ever seen a live sending from the Faroe Islands. They got a little bit nervous because of the clouds, but it seems to turn around and there's now spots of blue sky, so we might get to see A TOTAL ECLIPSE OF THE SUN! :w00t:

Here's it's overcast and only an 80% eclipse anyway.

There's been the occasional FIFA World Cup/UEFA Euro qualifier broadcast from there.

Really? There have a team that has advanced far enough to meet a German/Austrian team? :O

Nah, the pre-tournament qualifiers, i.e. "the boring stuff," where you face teams like San Marino, Azerbaijan or Wales.

I read that as Europe League for some reason. Right, the national team would of course be televised, we've just never been in a group with them. Coincidence or do they have a rule that you can't meet your own subjects? :P

I've googled and we were in the same qualifier to the 1992 EC. I must've forgot since I was 6 at the time.

I doubt that.

The Faroe Islands did manage to win against Austria once in 1990, and there was a draw in 2008, and playing them again creates a certain apprehension here.

(Though it appears that last year, they won against Greece (in Greece!) in the Euro 2016 qualifier.)
