Sci-fi Groundhog Day? You betcha.

Oh, come on;  it was fantastic fun.

Hell, Emily Blunt can shoot me in the head for all eternity.

It's not bad, just average.

He panned Guardians of the Galaxy and doesn't see the difference between Game of Thrones and Days of our Lives.

Probably shit on that one, too.

I may watch it at some point. I think Jamie Dornan is the hottest man alive.
Have you watched The Fall?

He's an alarmingly attractive serial killer in that.

Glad the last episode of Wolf Hall didn't end as I expected. I thought it'd be Cromwell sitting alone in state somewhere probably dark.

But brilliant series all round. Can't recommend it enough.
I guess he's acting as his conscience in a way? Jimmy hides the newspaper because he wants his brother to think well of him. Though with the neighbor watching Chuck pick up her paper, I wonder if he's in for a trip to the loonie bin.
I finally acquired a way to watch The Wire.  I'm 3 episodes in and already hooked.  Goodbye free time.
"Everything that brought you here -- all the things that made you a prisoner of past sins -- they are gone. Forever and for good. So let the past go... and live."

"Somebody, after all, had to make a start. What we wrote and said is also believed by many others. They just don't dare express themselves as we did."

The Larch

It's all in the game, yo.

Red Tails; George Lucas' flick about the Tuskegee airmen. Awful, cliched and with cardboard and rather laughable characters (the reckless pilot, the drunkard, the scared boy...). However half the movie is aviation scenes and they didn't skimp out in the effects; it is easily the best looking rendition of WWII air war that I have seen (not the best).

The movie's quite terrible otherwise, and even the odd dialogue amidst the air scenes almost ruins them.

Agreed.  Solid B, with grade inflation applied.

Edge of Tomorrow verged on greatness, to me. Pity the ending spoils the film somewhat, but as a sci-fi blockbuster it probably was the best in a while.

It's the kind of film I would love to write.

Edge of Tomorrow is awesome.

Edge of Tomorrow was OK. Totally forgettable.
