I can see that though I think that primarily tone is warm and hopeful. So far there is no indication that any of the core characters have been truly harmed / that it wont all work out. :D

It was intelligent, convincing, complex.  I'm just not sure it's a movie.

this version is uncensored, I guess.  The one on tv had much less male nudity than the Blu ray version.

Watch an interesting documentary about David Warwick, he of star wars and willow fame, who was trying to get an theatre production going with the cast solely of people with dwarfism. Rather touching story, worth a viewing.
