I can see that though I think that primarily tone is warm and hopeful. So far there is no indication that any of the core characters have been truly harmed / that it wont all work out. :D

Just watched "Her."

It was intelligent, convincing, complex.  I'm just not sure it's a movie.

Now, I'm pretty sure it was images filmed and replayed at a sufficient numbers of frames per second to exploit human persistence of vision.

Jupiter Ascending was kind of crap, so the gal and I watched Flash Gordon to make ourselves feel better.  It worked. :)

Spartacus is on Netflix now.  I missed this the first time around.  I am enjoying it.  I imagine that back in the day Marti gushed with praise.

this version is uncensored, I guess.  The one on tv had much less male nudity than the Blu ray version.

Watch an interesting documentary about David Warwick, he of star wars and willow fame, who was trying to get an theatre production going with the cast solely of people with dwarfism. Rather touching story, worth a viewing.
