Some days, I want to watch criminals take a .44 slug on my schedule.

Admiral Yi

Probably a market for that kind of thing in SE Asia.

Admiral Yi

Watching The Blue Max.

Sytsonass, Zanza, if you've never seen this , here's a bonafide war movie where the Krauts are good guys.  I heartily suggest you check it out if you haven't already.

Syt

It's on TV every now and then.
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.

Admiral Yi

You're ducking.  Have you seen it?

Syt

Ages ok, when I was in school, I believe. Hasn't left a lasting impression, though I seem to recall rivals having an affair with the same French girl. I remember Peppard's other war movie, Operation Crossbow, better.

I'm enjoying Cucumber and Banana a lot. Banana is better.

Agreed and agreed. I would also tell that Freddie character that he isn't really all that interesting.

I drank because I wanted to drown my sorrows, but now the damned things have learned to swim.

Sheilbh

Yes, though I do enjoy Henry's reactions ('and this is turning you on, isnt' it?' 'oh yeah') and Freddie's the most improved by Banana.

Made my flatmate watch Fargo.

Predator is on TV. You son of a bitch! :w00t:

Gillian Anderson is a goddamn fox in The Fall.

Gillian Anderson is a goddamn fox in The Fall.

Yeah, she has aged incredibly well.  I don't know if she's had any work done--I suspect not--but if she has, it's been excellent.

Scott Pilgrim - The movie tries way too hard to be weird and stylish and ends up being pretty grating. The leads don't really have much chemistry (Michael's Cera character is pretty unlikeable) so it's hard to buy into the supposed heart of the film. And ultimately all the eye-popping visuals are there to hide that there really isn't much of a story.

I really wanted to like the film, mind, since the concept is neat. Is the graphic novel better?
