Michael Clayton, no question.

Too late I went with 'Cross of Iron'.

Great up until James Coburn walks out on Senta Berger.

Dummy.  Michael Clayton is pretty damned close to being a modern masterpiece.  Wonderful dialogue.
That one execution scene gave me a nightmare.  Goddamned completely horrifying.

Like Fright Night, which is great.  B+

'80s Fright Night is really great fun.

OK, Ok, I'll watch it on catch-up tomorrow.

The remake isn't bad at all, either, but this is probably better.

Ideologue

Fright Night is in the same multi-pack that my copies of Christine and The Blob came in.  Gotta get around to it eventually.

I wish it had 80s Susan Sarandon in it.  Ideologically correct and naked.

Cross of Iron  Like there hasn't been enough bashing of that film around here over the years.  You should've known better.

Only now realized that Chris Sarandon was both the villain in Princess Bride and the tranny lover in Dog Day Afternoon.

I would've hit it during the Carter Administration.

I think it's the same year as Terminator.

It is, but my statement still stands.

He was also the cop in the original Child's Play.  For a long time I didn't realize it was him and thought it was Micheal Nouri.

Slapshot is much better movie in dubbed Canadian French than it's original English.

Fixed it for you :)
Even the French DVD had this track and not the French track I spotted once on TV.

My Big Fat Greek Wedding- I was sure they actually went to Greece in this. Guess not. It is a very very 80s movie. Though I don't think it is even set in the 80s. Really doesn't seem like it was made just 10 years ago.

Jack the Giant Killer- Nice to see giants getting the respect they deserve as a fantastical beast. Sadly the movie is as crappy as I expected, they didn't even try with the special effects.

Flight of the Navigator- I remember it being a lot more spacey. Ah the 80s. There's just something about that period and their enthusiasm about computers and the future that you just don't get in later days- mainly thinking of the crappy robot here.
