47 Ronin, enjoyed it, visually awesome. Not as bad as critics say it is.

It can be pretty astoundingly bad and still not be as bad as the critics are saying it is...

Wasikowska

Yeah I like her. Saw her in one of her first roles, on an HBO series where she played a young teen going to a shrink.

In Treatment. Me too. She was fantastic.

Did you watch the second season, Josephus?  It's fucking fantastic.  Also, the third season introduced Dane DeHaan, they really knew how to pick young actors.

Maybe it can become the lesser version of John Carter here on Languish.  I'm thinking of seeing it.

Now comment, suckas.  I think it moves me up google searches and I require more traffic to feed my boundless egoism.
It is impossible to comment, as they want some sort of account.  So too bad.

That was my fault.  I didn't realize it defaulted to requiring a google account.  I changed it.  Now anonymous posters can post.  I also got rid of the captcha.  Unless robots become an issue, fuck 'em, because those things are annoying.

Went and saw Enders Game at the dollar theater with the wife and boy.

Wow. Just...wow.

It has all the pieces, and completely and totally fails in part and in sum to capture any part or parcel of what made the book such a good read.

It may be the worst book adaptation of all time. Harrison Ford has failed me.

Harrison Ford: living on past glories since 1995.

'97. Get off his plane.

Seems he's got a part in the new Anchorman movie. Don't know if he's ever done comedy before.  :hmm:

Bit part. Not really a comedic role.

IMHO Sabrina was the tipping point.

The original was made with a slowly dying Bogart who hated everybody else involved in the film (and the film itself) with a passion. Ford really didn't care, it shows.

How could anyone hate Billy Wilder?

How could anyone hate Billy Wilder?

Step 1 - Try to get Cary Grant for the part
Step 2 - Once you fail trick Bogie by telling him he was your first choice
Step 3 - Tell Bogie the plot will be X
Step 4 - Have plot be Y
Step 5 - Have Hepburn and Holden have whirlwind love affair during filming
Step 6 - Pander to Hepburn and Holden while Bogart has cancer
