We don't have the steel hearts and stomachs of the Swede.  :(

They have balls of steel, those Swedes.  They sold quite a few of them to the Germans during the war.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

Mockingbird Lane.  I didn't know Munsters was being remade.

Finally, finally watched Cowboys and Aliens.  And finally found a movie that Harrison Ford couldn't save.

Although Olivia Wilde makes so many things in life tolerable.

Made it through around half of that before I quit.

Watched the first two episodes of the new Clone Wars season. For some reason I think the animations look crappier than in the 4th season. Also: bringing Maul back was a stupid idea, esp. the way they portray him and his brother.

I do like that the second episode goes to Onderon and for once doesn't rape the established lore much (mostly from the Sith War comics and KotOR2). Too bad the plot seems crappy so far. High point of the series remains the four parter in Season 4 about the WW1-style Jedi general as seen from the soldiers under his command.
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.

I inadvertently watched that a while back, I can remember virtually nothing about it.

Viking

Fringe is just dead to me. The show is so obviously going to end with time travel back to now.
First Maxim - "There are only two amounts, too few and enough."
First Corollary - "You cannot have too many soldiers, only too few supplies."
Second Maxim - "Be willing to exchange a bad idea for a good one."
Second Corollary - "You can only be wrong or agree with me."

A terrorist which starts a slaughter quoting Locke, Burke and Mill has completely missed the point.
The fact remains that the only person or group to applaud the Norway massacre are random Islamists.

actually, so is Sons of Anarchy. It now has the feel of the pointless middle seasons of the shield (same producers) where we've had the intelligent set up and the topical and authentic tone has been established... but now we just wait as the characters deal with trivial issues unrelated to the setup while we wait for the whole thing to end intelligently in the last episode of season 7.

The end of The Thick Of It. Unbelievable TV. I want the whole thing on DVD now. And I second Gups' recommendation, especially for CdM. "One of the many, many things that baffles me about you is that you remain unmurdered."

Fringe jumped the shark in its first episode.  The only inexplicable thing is that Fringe lasted more than one season.

that'd be way too cliche. I hope they don't do that...
I don't do meditation.  I drink alcohol to relax, like normal people.
