The ending of Captain America just kind of hung there.  Not good, IMHO.

Just re-watched Requiem for a Dream.  For the rest of the night I'll be lying in the foetal position silently weeping :)

Why?  Why would you inflict that on yourself?

I guess he means the final battle with the Red Skull, which I agree was kinda weak.

Then again IMO the best part of the Captain America film is the origin story. That and the propaganda musical number.

That's the best part of any superhero film.

It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

The new American Pie movie and The Avengers started last week in Austria. American Pie sold about twice as many tickets.

Such an outcome should be no surprise for the land of Priklopil, Fritzl and Schickelgruber.

Schickelgruber got two chicks to commit suicide, one by shooting herself in the chest at his apartment and the other to eat a cyanide suicide pill in his underground bunker while the russians were destroying the city. Him.
