New season of Doctor Who starts in 10 minutes on BBC America.  I can't watch right now, but I've got someone recording it for me.

So, anybody watching it?

Watched it last night.  Can't really say much without spoiling you, because it jumps into action really fast, but IMO, that one episode had a more cinematic feel than the entire last season.  Well worth the wait.

We have been spared another Reiser outbreak.

Beck- The anime is rather good so I decided to watch the live action one. Its strange. But then I suppose film manga adaptions are. Having to compress s omuch into so little time they change a lot. The songs and the general film has nothing on the anime but still alright.
What is odd though is that instead of having the lead singer actually sing and merely be (supposidely) good they've decided to never have his singing by heard and have everyone react as if it is inhumanly amazing.

Just saw She's Too Good for You.  Squirrely loser dude hooks up with hottie.  Some pretty funny lines, especially from the squirrel's family.  Hottie was very nice looking, but had a surprisingly large caboose.  Did she bulk up after shooting started?  I don't get it.  Super hott unatatainable movie babes are not supposed to have asses that big.

 Finished Puella Magi Madoka Magica. It was excellent, and makes a very strong bid for best anime of the season. It remains to be seen of Hanasaku Iroha can unseat it.
