The social conflict here seems to be between old money New Yorkers and noveau riche robber barons, so I'm sure there will be quite a lot of accent flaring in the show.

No Dowager Countess, though, and that's a big flaw.

The Sex Lives of College Girls, S1. I really enjoyed it. There's the odd silly thing but overall good dialogue and some genuinely funny jokes, and decent drama.

Oh yeah, and you can spot Lauralee Hickok from In The Know with Clifford Banes.

I Care a Lot - Brutal little flick with no heroes or anti-heroes, just two incredibly charismatic villains going toe to toe.  In particularly I liked that [spoiler]the mafia boss didn't just go murder crazy right off, but tried to get his mother out quietly before resorting to more extreme methods when thwarted[/spoiler].  The ending was good up until [spoiler]Chekov's Gun goes off[/spoiler].

Watching the Edge of War.  Wonderful production values but the story is pretty meh, and it's all based on the flimsy premise that [spoiler]if only Chamberlain had declared war over the Sudetenland than the German army was poised to overthrow Hitler in a coup.[/spoiler]
