They have a few other good models, but I'm not sure going below 1000$ for such a tv is a wise idea.

True, but if I get 3 or 4 years out of it--considering the sheer number of hours I'd plow through it--less than $400 isn't that big of a deal.  Hell, with the exception of the really big ones, even the manufacturers don't consider them a capital purchase anymore.

When I get a paying job again, I'll review revamping my living room furniture and find a nice 50" or bigger for the wall.  Right now, my entertainment center is all shelves and drawers and stores way too much shit for me, and my Yamaha sound bar and subwoofer are nice and snug.

My cousin has a 65 inch in his bedroom. Looks absolutely ridiculous.

Is he compensating for something?

Perhaps that he still lives at home. My tv/monitor is only like 26 so needless to say I can't relate. :D

Your TV is not befitting your elititude.

He lives in a Manhattan apartment, Ide.  There are only so many laws of physics his elitude can break in this universe.

Keira Knightley has ruined fewer movies than I thought.

If she had bigger tits she would have ruined fewer still I suspect.

In Time- Strange but kind of cool sci-fi idea. Strange plot that doesn't really go anywhere.
I was sure at the end the main villain was going to pull a I AM YOUR FATHER!
but no.

Black Death- Not so good historicy fantasy Sean Beany thingy. Poor typecast Sean.

Drop Dead Fred- Not as amazing as I remember it being.

Vexille- So-so CG anime. The animation itself grates.

I've also been watching two Japanese TV shows (non-anime).
The first is My Boss, My Hero. A 20 something yakuza tough guy is forced to go back to high school to attain his diploma before his dad will let him take over the clan. Hilarity ensues. Pretty decent if repetitive.

Kekkon dekinai otoko/the man who cannot marry. Now this is amazingly funny. So far quite the anti-romance (though I suspect it will have a 'happy ending', bah). About an anti-social architect who just has no idea how to behave around people and doesn't particularly care about relationships or anything. His mother of course in traditional asian style is trying to make him get married and somehow some women appear in his life. Which he finds troublesome.

Papa to musume nananichi/father and daughter's seven days- Did I already mention this one? As I finished watching it before I went away. Cliched body swap plot with a salaryman and his way too cute for high school daughter switching bodies. Father in daughter's body has to win the heart of the boy she fancies whilst daughter in father's body inadvertantly leads on the hot lady in the office. Amusing.

I can't think of any.

That fucking stupid model-turns-junkie-bounty-hunter movie was pretty fucking stupid.

With that synopsis, I am at a loss how an actress could have *ruined* it.

@Viking- again, that's just a bad script.

Nobody overshadows Mickey Rourke, man.  Nobody.

"Ready For Love".  I think this is even cheesier than The Bachelor/Bachelorette.

Shame you can't bang any of the matchmakers;  I'd be ready for love for Amber Kelleher-Andrews.  You little, little whore, you.
