Josephus and Seedy-

Merle and Daryl are both creations of TV show only as was T-Dog.

Thanks for that heads up. I had no idea.

Tyreese was a combo of Daryl and T-Dog. Merle was completely made up.

First Corollary - "You cannot have too many soldiers, only too few supplies."
Second Maxim - "Be willing to exchange a bad idea for a good one."
Second Corollary - "You can only be wrong or agree with me."

A terrorist which starts a slaughter quoting Locke, Burke and Mill has completely missed the point.

Then I hope Rick gets the chance to finish what he should've done on the roof of that building in Atlanta, and have Merle eat the business end of that Colt Anaconda.

That might be difficult after Merle cuts his hand off.

That would be interesting. We'd have a handless man and a legless man.

Get a headless man and we've got a good start to a bar joke.
The medievals were only too right in taking nolo episcopari as the best reason a man could give to others for making him a bishop. Give me a king whose chief interest in life is stamps, railways, or race-horses; and who has the power to sack his Vizier (or whatever you care to call him) if he does not like the cut of his trousers.

Government is an abstract noun meaning the art and process of governing and it should be an offence to write it with a capital G or so as to refer to people.

The trailer for the American remake of "House of Cards" has been released.

Anyone else looking forward to this? The talent involved is pretty good, and updating that story in our times can be interesting given the even larger role media play in politics nowadays. So maybe it's one of the rare good remakes and not a bad one.

I love that they kept the "talk to camera" style of the original series, put us on board with the main character right from the start, which was always the most interesting part of the series given all the crap he ends up doing.
