To sleep, perchance to dream. But in that sleep of death, what dreams may come?

Watched "Tootsie" for the first time...having never realized Bill Murray had a somewhat supporting role in the film (and a pretty good one too)

Ack, how could you have waited this long?  It was 1982, for God's sake.

But the scene between Hoffman and Sydney Pollack in Pollack's office about the beefsteak tomato is a perfect scene:  it sums up Hoffman's generation from the Actors Studio in a nutshell.

Vinyl anyone?

I'm waiting with that until I'm subscribing to HBO to also get the new GoT, Veep, Silicon Valley.

Vinyl anyone?

I heard it's super boring. Seems like another of these Mad Men-like tv series that try to captivative the audience with its ambience, without having any meaningful and exciting plot.

I liked Vinyl. Not outstanding but very easy to watch and an excellent soundtrack. Very different to Mad Men, more cartoonish - think Boogie Nights with a touch of Goodfellas

Better Call Saul - slow start but hell, I could watch Bob Odenkirk all day.

Star Trek V. Odd movie, even by the series standards.

Dorsey should get one of these shirts.

He's very good.
Like Bryan Cranston from "Breaking Bad", he just owns the screen.

Berkut

I was watching the Expanse last night, and I realized that Miller, in my head, is basically what I would imagine CdMto be in that world.

David Milch - NYPD Blue and Deadwood creator - has gambled away his fortune:

I hope that means he's forced to do more Deadwood  :w00t:

Did he decide to stop making them or was it the network?

The network. Although he recently signed up to do a Deadwood film.
